The Great Bend Museum invites the community to a special $1 Movie Night at the Historic Alpine Theatre on November 20th, at 7 p.m. The featured film, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, celebrates the life of the real Margaret “Molly” Brown, a woman whose resilience and determination reflected the changing spirit of early 20th-century America.

The screening complements the museum’s new photography exhibit featuring the work of Clara Weisheit, whose images capture the people and places of the 1920s. Together, the film and exhibit highlight an era of transformation, when women and communities alike were finding new ways to define themselves in a modern world.
