Gary Community Partnership will sponsor the 2nd Annual Changemakers Awards and Gala Fundraiser on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Dean and Barbara White Community
Center, 6600 Broadway in Merrillville. The event will recognize area organizations and individuals exemplifying excellence in community service to the city and people of Gary
while raising funds to support the youth summer work program. GCP provides stipends to youth 13 – 18 to cut lawns, clean up debris, and restore the environment while learning
