Join us for Artistic Journey to Healing, a powerful and unique exhibit by local artist Aimee Bruno, opening on First Friday, October 3rd, 2025, at 6 pm at the Schwitzer Gallery in the Factory Arts District (formerly Circle City Industrial Complex).

As a survivor of both Thyroid and Breast Cancer, Aimee Bruno shares her profound journey through vibrant, abstract works that explore deep and meaningful concepts like cancer, depression, and dementia. This exhibit is a testament to the transformative power of art as a lifeline and a constant companion in discovering new paths to healing.

Beyond a display of art, this exhibit offers a unique two-part community endeavor. The first invites you to create a small, magnetic art piece (2.5") that will become part of a larger, collaborative installation. The second provides a safe and anonymous space for sharing short, recorded testimonials about personal experiences with illness-whether your own or a loved one's-and the creative, healing ways you've found to cope.

This free event offers free parking, refreshments, and music. It's an invitation to the community, designed to help others find healing through art and expression. Don't miss this opportunity to connect on a deeply personal level and find solace and understanding through creative outlets.
