Apples, Apples and More Apples
Check here each Thursday to see What's Pickin' in the orchard and available in the market for that weekend. We'll let you know which of our varieties are ready to pick and take home for eating, baking and enjoying. Apple varieties ripen and are available at different times throughout Harvest Fest so please make sure to check our website to find when your favorites are ready.

Smilin' Barn Cafe
Adding to the fun is the Smilin' Barn Cafe featuring BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, beef chili with scoop corn chips, chili dogs, chicken pot pie, orchard-fresh apple cider, slices of apple pie or caramel apple pie and caramel apples. Take a rest on the hay bales while telling your kids or grandkids about your own childhood memories of the harvest.  Please share your pictures on Facebook and Instagram #elegantfarmer.

Hayrides, Ponyand Train Rides
Enjoy Southeast Wisconsin's beautiful fall colors aboard our tractor-pulled hayrides, on top of one of our friendly ponies or chugging along in one of the East Troy Railroad's vintage trains.  

Corn Maze
As part of our Harvest Fest, The Elegant Farmer offers a family-friendly corn maze with easy in and out access for all ages. Come experience the fun and laughter this apple orchard design corn maze is sure to provide. Please note that the last entry into the corn maze is 4 pm as Harvest Fest closes at 5 pm.  Corn Maze Tickets: $7, children 2and under free

Farmer's Market
A wonderful shopping experience, The Elegant  Farmer offers award-winning specialty foods in its Farm Kitchen Bakery, Deliand Market including our famed Apple Pie Baked in a Paper Bag, fruit crisps, delicious CiderBaked Ham, fruity applesauces, jumbo muffinsand cookies, Blue Ribbon Cheeses, sauces and dressings, seasonal fruitsand vegetables and more. The Market is open year-round 9 am to 6 pm.  So come in early and get a pack of donuts before heading over to the orchard that is open 10 am to 5 pm Saturdays and Sundays. Grab dinner on the way out with our heat and eat ribs, pulled pork, CiderBaked ham or homemade chicken pot pies. Select your fall favorite Squash for $3 or Gourds $1 each.

Schedule of Events:

Departing East Troy Depot
9am, 10 am, 11 am, Noon, 1 pm, 2 pm and 3pm
Departing Elegant Farmer, Guests may board at The Elegant Farmer
10am, 11 am, Noon, 1 pm, 2pm (last round trip), 3 pm and 4 pm
​Guests may pick up on-line tickets at the Elegant Farmer Depot or purchase their tickets at the East Troy Depot before returning.

The depot / museum is open a half hour before the first scheduled train and closes when the last train gets in for the day.
​Masks are optional for all our guests.
Please note that tickets are good for the scheduled ride you have reserved, and also for additional rides on the same day if space is available. we do not sell one way tickets

Passengers for the regular trains can board the train at the East Troy Depot or the Elegant Farmer.  We recommend starting at the Elegant Farmer if you would like to take advantage of their apple orchard experience.
