Martin Marietta is proud to host the the Third Annual Boulder Dash at Charlotte Quarry 5K & 5 Miler on Saturday, September 28, 2024. This charity event provides runners with a unique race experience, as participants will run through a working rock quarry while navigating a fun and scenic course for all levels.

This 5K and 5 Miler event showcases the impressive quarry operation and large plant equipment while testing participants' endurance and abilities. Both 5K and 5 mile runners will travel along the rim of the quarry while the 5-miler goes through the plant site and into the pit with a 400-foot elevation difference. The 5-miler course also features a 14% incline as it descends 9/10ths of a mile down before turning for a climb upward. Think you're up for the challenge?
