Picture a young pianist who can speak to your soul without uttering a single word. Shunta Morimoto, a prodigious talent from Kyoto, Japan, possesses this rare gift. His music transcends cultural and linguistic boundaries, offering a profound connection through the universal language of music.

From an early age, Shunta’s extraordinary talent was evident as he clinched top honors in Japan’s prestigious Piano Teachers’ National Association competitions. His victory at the 2018 Aloha International Piano Competition marked the beginning of an international journey that has captivated audiences from Tokyo to Hawaii.

Shunta’s artistry is nurtured by distinguished mentors, including Shohei Sekimoto and William Grant Naboré at the International Piano Academy Lake Como. Currently, he is expanding his repertoire at the Conservatorio di Musica Santa Cecilia in Rome under Professor Giovanni Velluti.

His performances, whether in the historic halls of Rome or the grand stages of Los Angeles and London, are celebrated for their emotional depth and technical brilliance. In 2022, at just 17, Shunta won First Prize at the Hastings International Piano Concerto Competition with a spellbinding rendition of Schumann’s Piano Concerto, affirming his status as a rising star.

Join us for an unforgettable evening with Shunta Morimoto, where every note played is a bridge connecting hearts and minds. Experience the magic of music that unites us all, delivered by a virtuoso whose talent knows no boundaries.
