In honor of Italian American Heritage & Culture Month, Bronx Little Italy will host its annual Columbus Day Celebration on Monday, October 14 from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm on East 186th Street at Arthur Avenue.  

 

The event will once again feature live entertainment from the band Pane e Cioccolato, filling the streets of Arthur Avenue with the upbeat sounds of traditional Italian music. Visitors are encouraged to spend the day immersing themselves in all that Bronx Little Italy has to offer, from artisanal food shops to retail merchants, delicious eateries, and more.

 

Celebrations in the neighborhood continue throughout the month with live music by the nostalgic Doo Wop quartet, The Belmont 4. Every Saturday in October from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, catch the a cappella group in an array of Arthur Avenue eateries singing classics from Dion and the Belmonts and other sentimental 50’s favorites.
