The local nonprofit BronxWorks is hosting their annual 5K Fun Run/Walk Monster Mash Hunger Dash at Orchard Beach on Saturday, October 19, to raise funds for BronxWorks programs fighting food insecurity in the Bronx. The public is welcome to attend and encouraged to dress up in their best costume. Tickets are available for purchase for individuals, children, and families here. Participants are also invited to fundraise for the event and incentives are available for top fundraisers. Early bird pricing is available until October 10, and fundraising will close on Saturday, October 26.
