In this program, Richard Franklin Donohue will explore this extraordinary repertoire from the 10th through 19th centuries. Hear carols sung in their original languages of German, Latin, Middle English, French, and Modern English with harpsichord accompaniment. Mr. Donohue is a trained tenor who teaches music and specializes in historic music ranging from Middle English carols t0 19th century romantic music. As a historian, he has served as President and Program Director of the Cromwell Historical Society for nearly twenty years.
