White Dog Distilling Company in Middletown Ohio presents a fundraising event you cannot miss!
A pub crawl to help out someone in need!

This event goes to benefit a local woman and her journey with breast cancer. All proceeds from the walk/run, raffle baskets, and specialty beer specials will go to her. (A new recipient is chosen every year!)

Meet this years recipient, Teresa:

“I am Teresa.  I am a 67 year old wife, mother and grandmother.  

I started smoking at the age of 18.  When I was 24, I decided that I would like to have a healthier future, so I quit.  I then began working hard to be very health conscious and to maintain a healthy lifestyle.   This is when I started eating well, practicing self care and exercising.  I started with jogging short distances.  I was able to progress and build up stamina to the point where I was running 2-3 miles.  At the age of 41 I joined a team and began training for the Chicago Marathon!  In October 2001, I completed the marathon with a time of 6 hours and 21 minutes.  

So many family members supported me and cheered me on throughout the marathon, just as they are doing now during my battle with breast cancer.  In January 2024, I was diagnosed with hormone positive breast cancer with axillary involvement.  My treatment consists of 9 months of hormone reduction therapy, followed by a mastectomy, radiation, and chemotherapy.  My journey will cover at least a year.  I cannot imagine going through all of this alone and am so very grateful for everything my friends and family are doing for me.

It is a long road but I cannot wait to ring that bell with all of my supporters surrounding me!”
