Oof Comedy and Lafayette Comedy present the 3rd annual Couillon Fest, a 3-day stand-up comedy experience featuring the region's funniest comedians, with headlining comics from around the country, including Ariel Elias (Kimmel, Colbert), Neil Rubenstein (Comedy Central, HBO, Spike TV), and Zach Reinert (Sirius XM). Day passes and weekend passes are available in advance at LafayetteComedy.com.

Meet your headliners:

Ariel Elias is a comedian living in New York City. Growing up, this Kentucky Jew made everyone laugh at her bat mitzvah, and the rest is history. Today, her comedy is a fun mesh of unique, personal stories mixed with witty and wry observations. Described as "a sly young comic from Kentucky" by the New York Times, Ariel has also been featured in Rolling Stone, the Washington Post, and on Good Morning America. She was named a "New Face" at the 2021 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, as well as Paste Magazine's Best Comedians of 2022. After catching Jimmy Kimmel's attention with a viral stand-up clip that displayed her cool, calm, and hilarious composure, he invited Ariel to make her late night television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! which received over one million views on YouTube. In 2024, she followed it up with an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. When not performing, she's probably petting a dog or struggling through a crossword puzzle.

Neil Rubenstein is a burly, tattooed guy who plays against type; kind, cerebral, but still casually mentions past illegal activities (running a poker room, owning a brothel, etc.) the way one might reference a Renaissance Lit course you took in college. Neil's comedy career spun off from his appearances as a gambling expert on Spike TV's Casino Cinema. After receiving some sage entertainment advice from comedy legend Artie Lange, Neil began focusing on stand-up, and has since taken his act all over the country, even doing opening sets for bands like Taking Back Sunday and Motion City Soundtrack. His new album Have Some Dignity was published by Equal Vision Records and is currently available for free on YouTube, with a forward by Taking Back Sunday.

Zach Reinert is a prolific one-liner comic out of Denver, CO. His first album, A Boatload of Jokes, won album of the year in Westword's Best of Denver Awards in 2020. His new special Trains, Trains, Trains was released by 800 Pound Gorilla Media and is being featured on Sirius XM. Zach also co-wrote and co-directed a short film with Preston Tompkins called Paranormal Drunktivity which was accepted into 14 film festivals in 2023 and 2024.
