Catch Danny Klein, bassist and founding member of the J. Geils Band, live with his Full House Band on Saturday, November 16, at the Courthouse Center for the Arts for a night of unforgettable music.
Klein brings decades of rock and rhythm to the stage, performing alongside a talented lineup that includes Jim Taft on lead vocals, Steve Gouette on guitars and vocals, Dave Q on keyboards and vocals, Jeremy Esposito on drums, Richard Rosenblatt on harmonica, and guest lead vocalist Artie Eaton. Together, they deliver a high-energy experience.
Danny Klein’s love for music began in New York City, where he grew up listening to the sounds of R&B, Motown, and blues on AM radio. Inspired by legends like Muddy Waters, Otis Redding, and The Supremes, he honed his passion for music through his early exposure to these influences. While studying at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Klein met J. Geils and Magic Dick, forming a jug band that soon evolved into the J. Geils Band. As the bassist, Klein helped drive their distinct rock and rhythm sound, contributing to their success across 17 albums and years of touring. Following an impressive career with the J. Geils Band, Klein took time to pursue his passion for cooking before returning to music in the 1990s. Since then, he’s performed with blues artist Debbie Davies and co-founded the R&B group StoneCrazy. Now, with Danny Klein’s Full House Band, Klein is back to doing what he loves most: playing live music that connects with audiences.
