Bridgewater Fare, a photography exhibition featuring 21 color photographs taken by Dan Carew in 2024, will be on view at the Burnham Library in Bridgewater, Connecticut, throughout June.
Dan Carew, a street photographer who grew up in Roxbury (Shepaug Class of ’81), spent 31 years living in Asia before recently returning to the area with his family. Since moving back, he has continued capturing the life and landscape of the local folks.
The featured photographs, taken in Bridgewater during the summer and autumn of 2024, highlight familiar sights and scenes, including the Bridgewater Fair and Tractor Parade, as well as portraits of local residents.
All photographs are printed on 17” x 22” Moab Archival Baryta Rag 305 paper, framed in black metal under tempered glass, signed by the artist, and offered in limited editions of 10. Prints are available for purchase at $250 each.
