No matter what season we are in, there is always a reason to be concerned about blood donation shortages. In the Fall it’s about busy calendars and fast-approaching holidays occupying our time and energy, along with the spread of colds and respiratory infections from being indoors, making it harder to be a donor.
To make it easy for you to help, the Pleasantville High School will once again host a mid-week, all-day Blood Drive to assure that our area has a sufficient supply for both anticipated and emergency situations. Although the drive is located in Pleasantville, blood donors from all towns are welcome to come to lend their help. Its central location and hours of operation make it very convenient to include blood donation as part of a day’s activities.
