This hike will start at the Bear Mountain Inn, in front of the Hiker's Cafe. We will follow the Appalachian Trail for 1.5 miles to the top of the mountain and Perkins Memorial Tower. There we will pause and take in the view. We will then return to the Inn via the Appalachian Trail. There may be porta-potties at the top of the Mountain (they are tied to seasonal weather) but there will be no running water. We will have prompt bathroom use at the start of the trail. Water and good trail shoes are essential and trail snacks are recommended. Parking will be at Bear Mountain Inn and will cost 10$ per car.
