KMFA and Ally Medical Emergency Room Presents
Free Summer Midday Music Series For Kids and Family
Summer Stories: Critter City With Cover To Cover Ensemble
Presented By Ally Medical Emergency Room
KMFA’s Midday Music Series for Kids and Family returns this summer with three free, interactive events designed to introduce young audiences to the joy of classical music. Hosted in the Draylen Mason Music Studio, each program blends live performance with storytelling, visual art, or film to spark curiosity and creativity in children. Open to all ages and especially suited for preschool and elementary-aged kids, the series offers a fun, welcoming way for families to explore music together while school is out.
Summer Stories: Critter City
In partnership with Cover to Cover Ensemble
Close out the summer with an imaginative musical journey through the Texas Hill Country! Critter City is a whimsical, interactive concert that combines storytelling, live music, and visual art to celebrate local wildlife. Led by the vibrant wind quintet Cover to Cover, this one-of-a-kind experience follows Betty Bat and her forest friends through an original tale shaped by audience participation. Kids can color along, sing along, and help guide the story while discovering the sounds of classical music reimagined for young ears.
