Free Summer Midday Music Series For Kids and Family

Disney's Fantasia 2000

Presented By Ally Medical Emergency Room

KMFA’s Midday Music Series for Kids & Family returns this summer with three free, interactive events designed to introduce young audiences to the joy of classical music. Hosted in the Draylen Mason Music Studio, each program blends live performance with storytelling, visual art, or film to spark curiosity and creativity in children. Open to all ages and especially suited for preschool and elementary-aged kids, the series offers a fun, welcoming way for families to explore music together while school is out.

Disney’s Fantasia 2000:

Bring the family for a magical midday screening of Disney’s Fantasia 2000, where classical music meets dazzling animation. Featuring the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under the baton of James Levine, this cinematic journey includes spellbinding musical favorites by Beethoven, Gershwin, Elgar, Saint-Saëns, and Stravinsky. From abstract dreamscapes to the return of Mickey Mouse in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Fantasia 2000 is a visual and musical treat for audiences of all ages.
