Gingerbread House, Competition and Display:
Gingerbread enthusiast of all ages are invited to compete for a piece of over $3000 in cash prizes. There are seven categories for , individual or team entries: professional, amateur, teen, youth, child, Santas seniors, and pint size. Entries are not  limited to the structure of a house. Competitors are encouraged to uniquely design their entry. Completed entries must be delivered to the Civic Center on Friday, between 10 AM and 2 PM. Entries will be on display for public viewing at the gingerbread festival from 11 AM to 5 PM.

Gingerbread Festival Award Ceremony:
Please join us for the 2024 gingerbread festival award ceremony at 4 to 5 PM. In addition to declaring  the winners for both the gingerbread entries and the decorated crab pot Christmas trees, you will be treated to a holiday concert by the Carteret Community  Sunshine Band.
