The Glastonbury Education Foundation 5K Run/Walk (or “GEF5K”) is a rebranding of the Bill Landers Building Bridges Memorial Hybrid 5K Run/Walk (or "BL5K"), which the Foundation has sponsored in Glastonbury, Connecticut, since 2008. 

The 17th annual event will only feature an in-person race .  The in-person race will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at the Hubbard Green in Glastonbury.  The race will begin at 8:30 a.m., and travel along the former BL5K route, with bib chip timing.  The race is sanctioned, and serves as a qualifier for the Manchester Road Race.  Parking for the race will be available at Glastonbury High School, 330 Hubbard Street in Glastonbury.
