Downtown Rapid City will welcome giant pumpkins weighing hundreds of pounds on Saturday, Sept. 28, for The 16th Annual, Great Downtown Pumpkin Festival.

Schedule of Events

10:00AM – Vendors, kid zone and pumpkin weigh off begin

10:15AM – Drumline and mascots lead procession from Main Street Square to Memorial Park

11:00AM – First Round of Pumpkin Chunkin (Catapults at Memorial Park)

12:00PM – Winners announced for pumpkin weigh off (City Hall)

1:00PM - Second Round of Pumpkin Chunkin (Catapults at Memorial Park)

3:00PM – Third Round of Pumpkin Chunkin (Catapults at Memorial Park)

4:00PM – Event concludes
