The Great Northwest Oktoberfest returns to beautiful downtown Whitefish, MT in 2024 for two full weekends of Bavarian-style fun, September 26-28 and October 3-5!

Authentic German food, music, beer, dancing and more. featuring three great bands, 5,000 bratwurst, 200 kegs of Hofbrau and Bayern beer, and the wildest assortment of audience-participation contests this side of Munich!

5:00 pm - Oktoberfest officially opens for Week 2
5:30 pm - The Europa Band takes the stage!
6:15 pm - Keg-Tapping Ceremonies and the arrival of the Oktoberfest Royalty - Mens Stein-Holding Contest
6:45 pm - Polka, Oom-pah, and more by The Europa Band
7:30 pm - Ladies Stein-Holding Contest
8:15 pm - Great dance music by The Europa Band
9:00 pm - Crowning of the 2023-24 Hop Queen! - Mens Stein-Holding
9:30 pm - More great music from The Europa Band

Admission:

Admission is $10; and kids 12 and under are free when accompanied by a parent.  Tickets are available only at the gate, but have no fear … there’s plenty of room for all!

Get ready for authentic German beer, food, music and dancing. Entertainment will be provided by Europa — one of America’s most sought-after Oktoberfest bands — as well S-Bahn, Canada’s #1 Oktoberfest outfit.  And on Saturday afternoons, it’s the Flathead’s own German orchestra, the Bavarian Echoes!

Then it’s time for you to get into act by entering one of our hourly stein-holding contests, hurling kegs on Saturday evening, putting together a team for the Beer Barrel Races, or doing the chicken dance!  And don’t forget…

Thursday, Sept 26 is “Locals Night” — Flathead County residents (with valid ID) get in free of charge for our Opening Night extravaganza

Saturday, Sept. 28 is “Family Day” —  Kids 12 and under (with parents) get in free for a full afternoon of festivities outdoors in the Oktoberfest Beer Garden.
