Join South County Outreach and Love Irvine in their 2024 Citywide Food Drive, a month-long initiative during October to address food insecurity in Orange County! From October 1st through the 31st, the community is encouraged to donate non-perishable food items at any of the 17 designated drop-off locations across Irvine.

The drive will conclude on Saturday, November 2nd, with Love Irvine’s Citywide Service Day, where volunteers will help sort and pack the collected donations for distribution to local families in need.

This year’s food drive is crucial in the fight against hunger as 1 in 5 children in Orange County face food insecurity. With the ongoing mission to ensure no family or individual goes hungry, South County Outreach is calling on the community to come together through both donations and volunteer efforts.

How to Participate:

·       Donate: Drop off non-perishable food items at any of the 17 collection sites throughout Irvine, including local fire stations and community centers. Needed items include pasta, canned meat, cooking oil, condiments, snacks, and more

·       Volunteer: On November 2, join fellow community members during Love Irvine’s Citywide Service Day to sort and pack food donations. This day of service is an excellent opportunity to make a direct impact in the fight against hunger.
