The Lawrence Township will honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country with its annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony on Saturday.
The parade will begin at 10:00 AM from Lawrence High School, proceed left onto Princeton Pike, then left onto Darrah Lane, left onto Birchwood Knoll, and end at Berwyn Place in Lawrence Township Veterans Park.
The parade will include a Bagpipe Band, Brass Band, the Lawrence High School Marching Band, military groups, youth sports organizations, nonprofit community groups, members of the Lawrence Fire Companies, the Lawrence Township Police Department, and Public Works-all proudly representing the Lawrence community.
A Memorial Ceremony will immediately follow the parade at Lawrence Township Veterans Park. The program will include remarks from the 2025 Grand Marshal, Lieutenant Colonel William H. Kale, a decorated U.S. Army veteran and volunteer curator at the National Guard Militia Museum of New Jersey, located at 161 Eggerts Crossing Road in Lawrence Township.
Ceremony performances will include the St. Ann’s School Choir, the Lawrence Township Committee Band, and the Lawrence High School Marching Band. Local veterans, including members of the Lawrence Township Patriotic Committee, will take part in the tribute. Mayor Patricia Hendricks Farmer will also deliver remarks to reflect on the meaning of Memorial Day.
