Manhattan Short Film Festival

One of our favorite annual traditions, the Manhattan Short Film Festival returns to OKCMOA on September 26! Join more than 100,000 film lovers across the country and around the world as they unite to view, judge and celebrate a new crop of extraordinary short films.

OKCMOA is proud to host the 27th annual Manhattan Short Film Festival! This year’s ten finalists (shown at every screening) are viewed simultaneously across the world, with the Best Film and Best Actor awards determined by ballots cast by the audiences in each participating venue. By virtue of their selection by Manhattan Short, each finalist will be qualified for the Academy Awards.

The Ten Manhattan Short Finalists hail from eight countries with films from United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Ukraine, Italy, France, Australia, Croatia, and Ireland as well as two films from the USA. This year’s program includes the 2024 Cannes Film Festival’s Short Film Palme d’Or winner The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent, recent deadCenter highlights The Talent and I’m Not a Robot, Tribeca Film Festival award winner Alarms, and Dovecote starring Zoe Saldana.
