Join us for the St. Charles County Memorial Day Celebration!

Rain or shine event, admission and parking are free. Follow the signs inside the park to the easy-to-find event space near the veterans memorial wall. A nearby shelter is available in case of rain.

Featured speaker Katrina “Kat” Evans will tell her story-joining the Navy at 19 and serving from 1998-2021, many of those years as a flight mechanic. She now works for Boeing Defense in St. Louis, supervising production of the FA-15 and FA-18 fighter jets. Evans has also served as Veteran Staffing Manager for Boeing, helping veterans succeed in the workforce.

Speaker Mike Stagoski will describe his experience leading a platoon of four tanks each in Desert Storm, and life inside the tanks during battle. The Army combat veteran now serves as president of the Mid America Veterans Museum in O’Fallon, Mo.

Live music will be performed by the popular local band, River City Guitar Heroes.

A solemn reading of the names of local veterans who died in service to our country will take place, followed by a 21-gun salute.
