Memorial Day Parade
The Town of Hurley’s annual Memorial Day Parade will be held Monday in Old Hurley.
The staging area for the parade – the THikit print shop at 185 Zandhoek Road (formerly St. John’s Mission) – will open at 9 a.m. on May 26. Participants should arrive no later than 9:30 a.m., entering from Zandhoek Road.
The parade will step off at 10 a.m., proceed north on Zandhoek Road, turn right at the end of the Hurley Cemetery property, cross Hurley Avenue, travel the length of Main Street, cross Wynkoop Road, and end at the Hurley Town Hall, where there will be a ceremony, food and beverages.
