The City of Blue Ash invites you to the 73rd Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony on May 26, 2025!
The parade kicks off at 10:15 a.m. from Reed Hartman Highway and Cooper Road, with entries from dozens of military and non-profit organizations, local businesses, and community groups.
The route will proceed east on Cooper to Monroe, and end at Towne Square.

A special ceremony will take place at Towne Square after the parade at approximately 11:30 a.m. with keynote speaker Lieutenant Colonel Josh Quantz, U.S. Army Retired.

Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Army Retired
Josh Quantz is a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel with 21 years of service. He commissioned onto active duty from the University of Cincinnati’s Army ROTC program upon his graduation in 1998. He holds a master’s degree in leadership from the University of Texas and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The Ohio State University.
Josh is a graduate of the Armor Captain’s Career Course, the Command & General Staff College, Advanced Operations Course and Army Airborne School. His major awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, four Meritorious Service Medals, five Army Commendation Medals, the Kosovo Campaign Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, NATO Kosovo Medal, Valorous Unit Award, 4th Infantry Division Combat Patch, and induction into the Honorable Orders of Saint George and Saint Barbara.
Josh is a career Armor & Cavalry Officer and has commanded at the Company and Battalion level; was Aide-de-Camp to the Commanding General of U.S. Forces in Kosovo; served as an Infantry Brigade Executive Officer; and served on General Staff as Director for Army Operations (G3) and Joint Staff as Director for Strategic Plans, Policy & International Affairs (J5).
Today, Josh is Director for Human Resources at MANE Inc. a global Fragrance & Flavour company. He is married to Michelle (Ehlers) Quantz and proud father of three sons: Hunter (25), Colton an Army Second Lieutenant (23) and Tyler (13). Josh has spent countless hours volunteering in youth athletics and is a life-member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Josh is an Aviator and Sycamore High School graduate, class of 1994.
