The Party Theater returns with its third annual Microcosm outdoor theater performance for one-night-only on Saturday, October 19, 5pm at The Mutual Aid Society - 1863 County Hwy. 30 Stamford, NY 12167. Microcosm is an original, immersive “micro-theatre” walk inspired by the landscape, the changing season, and an annual theme, this year’s being: Time Warp. Attendees will experience a guided, outdoor walk, encountering several unique pieces of performance art along the way that work together to build a small world and tell a common story. Whether in the form of monologue, short scene, or audiovisual installation, the performance reflects and refracts perspectives on the overarching theme.

This year’s Microcosm is a collaboration between artists Kristin McCalley, Adrian Shirk, Clayton Landiss, Cary Hooper, True, Gabriel Faure-Brac, Marisa Caruso, Rod Sauquillo, and Cat Morrison. Food and beverage will be available for donation on-site and the evening will close with a communal bonfire and karaoke! Tickets are $10 in advance or at the door. Microcosm is an hour-long outdoor theater walk that will require intermittent walking, sometimes on uneven ground. The event will be hosted at "The Mutual Aid Society," a cooperatively-sustained artist retreat owned and operated by Adrian Shirk. Ample street-side parking is available in front of the property.
