Monochromatic - a color scheme that is based on a single color, or hue. The other colors within the color scheme are all light and dark variations of that hue. Tricky, right? We all have a favorite, but could you narrow it down to only one? Warm and fiery… or cool and calming? Each wall of the show will be filled with different subjects, all brought to life through the artists’ favorite single-color palettes, like Seth Fenton's wood burning and Corrita Meyers’s blue hued abstract.

This months guest artist is Carol Tisone. Carol’s passion for Glass-on-Glass (GOG) mosaics was sparked after attending a GOG mosaic workshop in 2019. Using a little stash of stained glass, she began experimenting with a variety of designs and techniques as she developed her own style of GOG mosaic. She began with unframed glass, moved to using old and new frames to compliment the subject, tried her hand at old window frames and most recently with concrete outdoor items. Her themes and subjects reflect her own as well as the Bay area interests (crabs, mermaids, Jellyfish) or are inspired by the amazing stained glass she has continued to collect from glass stores far and wide.
