“Once Upon a Song!”

A new musical story and show featuring 40 singers and dancers….including the greatest popular and Broadway songs!

The L.I. Cabaret Theatre, under the direction of Gary Dana and Rick Dana; and musical director Sid Cherry; presents our new musical show entitled “Once Upon a Song!” In our story, you’ll see how our cast brings the books in a library to life in song and dance! Join our cast for performances on Saturday November 8 and Saturday November 15 at Temple B’nai Torah, 2900 Jerusalem Avenue, Wantagh, N.Y. at 7:30 P.M. Original dances are choreographed by Matt Quinn, and the show will consist of 35 musical numbers with singers, dancers, and costumes. The show features a live band and a cast of 40 performers. The songs in the show include current hits, oldies and songs from the Broadway stage, including a Tribute to “Woodstock” and a tribute to the musical “Wicked”. A 50/50 and several contests will be featured. We will provide snacks, soda, coffee and desserts. There will be dancing after the show until 1 A.M. Seating is night-club style at round tables. It will be an exciting evening!!

*Steve Mitchell as ELVIS will be joining us!

*Eric Wieboldt will sing his original song written for our Veterans, as performed on radio, TV and at events in Washington, D.C.!

The Long Island Cabaret Theatre members have performed in several countries throughout Europe; shows at festivals in the U.S., and as a guest singing group at the Von Trapp Lodge in Vermont. We are also regular guest performers at the Elmont Library Theater. The group also performs many shows at local libraries, fairs, parks and hospitals, in addition to its performances at St. Rose of Lima Church, St. Frances de Chantal Church, the Bellmore Showplace and Temple B’nai Torah.
