While this story is rooted in South Asian and Karnataka culture, the themes explored are universal. How do we define home? Is there a way that we can find a home away from home? Is our inherent identity redefined as we physically move from place to place? How can we maintain connections with our roots and upbringings while staying present in our current spatial and cultural circumstances?
This show is for our parents, our grandparents, for anyone who has experienced homesickness, for our old friends from near and for our new friends from far, for our found families, for our past selves and for our current selves. Everyone, regardless of if they've ever left it, has a strong sense of what makes home, home.
