Into the Woods combines well-known fairy tales Cinderella, Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Little Red Riding Hood with the story of the Baker and his Wife. It’s a musical full of hopes and dreams: Cinderella wishes to attend the King’s Festival; Jack wishes his cow could give milk; the Baker and his Wife wish desperately for a child.
