Friday, Nov 28, 2025 from 2:00pm to 3:30pm
This season's edition of Pontine's annual holiday celebration features original stagings of "Christmas Back Home" by Eugene Woods; a charming, nostalgic reflection on small town Christmas traditions circa 1905, and Annie Trumbull Slossin's "A Speakin' Ghost," published in 1890, which tells a tale featuring the Seacoast's Jenness family who lived on Old Odiorne Point Road in Portsmouth. We'll also have live fiddle music by Ellen Carlson and members of the New England Fiddle Ensemble, plus a post-performance onstage party complete with homemade cookies. This performance is suitable for adult audiences and children 12 and older. Pontine Theatre's home is at the 1845 Plains Schoolhouse, #1 Plains Avenue, Portsmouth NH. Covenient free parking is located onsite and the space is fully accessible. Purchase tickets online: www.pontine.org
