The Rocky Horror Show is a musical with music, lyrics and book by Richard O'Brien. A humorous tribute to various B movies associated with the science fiction and horror genres from the 1930s to the early 1960s, the musical tells the story of a newly engaged couple getting caught in a storm and coming to the home of a mad transvestite scientist, Dr Frank-N-Furter, unveiling his new creation, Rocky, a sort of Frankenstein-style monster in the form of an artificially made, fully grown, physically perfect muscle man complete "with blond hair and a tan".

'The Rocky Horror Show'  is an adult musical, and the BLT will require those under 17 to have an adult accompanying them to the production. This adult  musical is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and the BLT is proud to celebrate this 'cult classic' with this production.

Tickets are available through the web site www.theblt.org by using Simple Tix with information provided on the web site.  Todd Uhrmacher, winner of last year's OEAA award for best director of 2023 for 'The Prom', is stage director for this production.  D. Laureen Pickle is musical director, and Debbie Massey-Schneweis is choreographer. Jenny Cupak-Carroll is stage manager and is in charge of props. Leah Skorupa-Metzer is costumer; Joey Lorincz is lighting designer, and Joe Mokrycki is sound designer. Meg Latta is rehearsal accompanist.
