Come join us for the first annual Run with Purpose 5k event! The purpose of this event is to help raise awareness for individuals with Down Syndrome and Autism.  This event is hosted by the Shinebright Foundation. All proceeds will go towards providing financial support for therapy sessions, educational scholarships, and other areas of assistance as needed.

The race will be held in Downtown Asheboro in Bicentennial Park and will begin at 8:30am. Continue the FUN after your race and stay for the Rock the Block Community Event lasting until 2pm. There will be Food Trucks, DJ, Music, Dancing, and LOTS of fun to be had!

Due to the timeframe in which the T-shirt order needs to be placed and the inability to predict sizes, the last day to register and be guaranteed a T-shirt is September 16. 

This is a timed event with a timing company present.
