According to centuries-old tradition, many German towns host Christmas Markets in December; each one is unique, featuring local artisans and festive regional refreshments. Residents take the opportunity to enjoy each other’s company, sample local delicacies, shop for gifts, and share holiday cheer. The Seattle Christmas Market aspires to bring this festive Old-World tradition to Seattle. Our Market combines colorful décor, authentic gifts, enticing food and drinks, and family entertainment, creating the perfect atmosphere for celebrating the Season.

We are thrilled to announce that in 2024, we will be featuring even more artisan vendors. With over 80+ huts, we are bigger, better, and brighter than ever before.

This holiday season, experience a world of creativity at the Alpen Haus, where Seattle’s own “Henry” will be bringing his well-known Northwest characters and extraordinary artistic vision to life.

From Seattle to Paris, Henry has painted more than 500 public art installations during his career – and the Seattle Christmas Market is next! Renowned for his intricate and evocative abstract art, Henry will be creating dynamic, holiday-inspired pieces right before your eyes.

Choppers Brass Band

The Choppers Brass can be heard at collaborative art festivals, churches, museums, colleges, and private functions in the Seattle area.  Music includes compositions and arrangements by the members. They promote brass quintet music as both a serious and fun musical medium, and premier new music by Northwest composers. Members come from all points of Western Washington, and are in demand as soloists, teachers, clinicians, and conductors across the Puget Sound area.
