NPDT's Sensory-Friendly Nutcracker Reimagined is a performance that has been modified to be more comfortable and welcoming for people with sensory sensitivities or other learning, social, or cognitive disabilities. Modifications include:

• Sound: Re-mixed to reduce loud or high-pitched sounds

• Lighting: House lights remain on

• Movement: Allowing movement, vocalization, and other behaviors of audience members

• Relaxed entry/exit: Allowing guests to leave and re-enter freely

• VIPs may bring assistive technology and engage with the performance as needed, including standing, walking around, or taking breaks.
