The Bayside Historical Society welcomes back the Ensemble Yeon for an uplifting Passport Concert that traces the voices of immigrants across continents and centuries. From early American settlers to European composers who found a new home in America, and from exiled artists to contemporary reflections of Korean migration, the concert explores how displacement and belonging have shaped music. Each set highlights the resilience, hope, and cultural blending that define immigrant stories, culminating with musical selections from beloved Latin American composers.
The concert will include works by Aaron Copland, Antonín Dvořák, Kurt Weill, and Ernesto Lecuona. For more details about the program and performers, visit the BHS website. Admission is $10 for BHS members and $15 for non-members. Purchase tickets at www.baysidehistorical.org/events-1/songs-of-immigrants-a-cultural-journey-through-music.
This event is part of the Bayside Historical Society's Passport Concert Series.
