South Asian American Theater Festival

Off-Kendrik presents the 3rd “South Asian-American Theater Festival” (SAAThFest). SAAThFest is a celebration of coming together of diverse communities in South Asia and beyond through theater and story-telling. As the world around us gets more challenging and complex, Off-Kendrik has realized the necessity of creating a platform for opening dialogues and building partnerships between communities. The 3rd SAAThFest has been curated to include local theater groups, youth participation, and professional theater personalities. Over the weekend, there are 10 plays in 5 different languages which include representation from various parts of South Asia as well as selected work from the Asian American Playwright Collective.
