The Town of Tyngsborough is hosting our annual Memorial Day Event on Monday. The event will take place the center of Town near the Memorials.

At 9:00 A.M. Memorial Day morning, a motorcade will depart from the Winslow Road near old Town hall visiting all of the Town's cemeteries to salute the fallen. This is a very solemn and moving tradition. All are welcome to take part in the motorcade. If you cannot attend the motorcade to each cemetery, we will conclude that portion of the event at or around 10:15am in Memorial cemetery on Fletcher Drive. Feel free to meet us there if you would like to attend.

At 11:00 A.M. the Annual Memorial Day event will begin the center of Town on Winslow Road. Immediately following the speaking portions of our program, hot dogs and refreshments will be served. There will be patriotic music and facepainting for the kids. Parking is available at the old Winslow school, First Parrish Meeting House, and the public parking lot on Kendal Road across from the Fire Station.

Weather is always a factor in planning an event. If the Memorial Day committee determines the weather is not suitable to be held outside, the event will be moved inside of the Old Town Hall.
