Please join us at Summit Lake State Recreation on Saturday,from 10 to 11 a.m. for a special event honoring Burt County military members and first responders.

Summit Lake SRA recently planted more than 90 trees, with each tree dedicated to a Burt County military member or first responder who lost their life while serving or due to their service.

This event will take place on Free Fishing and Park Entry Day, so a state park permit is not required for entry and fishing permits are not required.
