It’s once again time to lace up your shoes and get ready to set a personal Turkey Day record in the annual running of the United Way Turkey Trot benefitting the United Way of Bartow County! One of Cartersville’s favorite Thanksgiving week events returns again on Saturday, November 23rd. 2024!  This year’s event will once again be held at Sam Smith Park just outside downtown Cartersville, GA.  Race Day Registration will begin @ 8:00 AM with the 5K Turkey Trot taking off at 9:00 AM.  AND…Come and Win your TURKEY!!!!  ALL AGE GROUP WINNERS GET A BIRD!

Come enjoy this fast, scenic route encircling Cartersville’s Sam Smith Park.  This race is a CERTIFIED 5K COURSE. (Certification # GA18041WC) and thus can be used as a Peachtree Road Race Qualifier!!
