Join us for a special event honoring military working dogs by running the course with your furry friends! These incredible dogs have served in every major conflict since our nation's founding, but it wasn't until WWII that they were officially recognized. Initially used as message carriers and sentries, they've since evolved to perform vital roles such as detecting bombs and drugs, tracking individuals, and more. Today, around 2,500 active military working dogs, including about 700 overseas, contribute to various capacities, from security to therapy and mascot duties. Lace up your running shoes—and your dogs'—to take part in this inspiring event at Jefferson Barracks Park, a historic site filled with stories of courage and sacrifice. Experience a scenic course through tree-lined paths and tranquil stretches, and help us honor these extraordinary animals and the veterans they support. Sign up now!
