The City of Niceville’s Veterans Day Parade will be held on Saturday.
Organization and Administration
Compliance with the parade rules and guidelines is mandatory. Parade entry registration shall only be accepted through the official registration form or online form submission.
The entry deadline is October 4th, 2024, at 5:00 pm.
There is a $30 application fee. Fees can be paid online through our website or in person at 208 Partin Dr. N Niceville, Fl.
Instructional material will be sent to each participant by October 11th, 2024.
There will be a mandatory meeting for all entries on Wednesday, November 6th, 2024, at 6:00 pm for final instructions and safety plan review.
The Parade will follow the same route as the annual Rotary Club Christmas Parade.
The parade’s purpose is strictly to honor veterans, no form of political campaigning is allowed.
Riding participants must stay on the float/vehicle at all times during the parade.
No over-hand throwing of candy or items to parade-goers, please gently toss underhand.
At least one adult must accompany all minors in a parade unit.
The parade will be forward motion only.
All members of the parade must stay with their registered unit.
Animals must be listed on the parade application.
All vehicles in the parade must have valid insurance, and drivers must be properly licensed.
All props on floats must be tightly secured, and all floats and trailers must use safety chains.
Each float must have 2 walking participants.
