Join us for Washington's Memorial Day Parade to honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. The parade will include a prayer, roll call, color guard, firing squad, and presentation of the Major Stephen Reich Award for Exceptional Citizenship.

Parade Schedule:
12:00 p.m. Washington Green Cemetery: Prayer, Roll Call, Color Guard and Firing Squad only.
1:15 p.m. Parade forms at New Preston Congregational Church.
1:30 p.m. Parade steps off through Village to Baldwin Hill Cemetery.
2:15 p.m. Parade forms at Washington Primary School.
2:30 p.m. Parade steps off. Parade stops at Depot Bridge for service for Navy deceased. Parade proceeds to Bryan Memorial Town Hall for the Memorial Day Service and presentation of the Major Stephen Reich Award for Exceptional Citizenship.

Chicken in the Box Dinner will be offered by Post #87 at the Legion Hall from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.

In case of rain: The chicken will be served but there will be no parade. Services will be held at the cemeteries and the Memorial Stones in the Depot.
