A bold local cast takes the stage in What the Constitution Means to Me, a sharp, funny, and deeply moving play that reimagines America’s founding document through the eyes of a teenage debater.

Created by playwright Heidi Schreck-who funded her college education winning constitutional debates-this

Tony-nominated hit explores how the Constitution has shaped generations of women. Called “the most important” Broadway play of the season by The New York Times, it’s powerful, personal, and unmissable.

Schreck's timely and galvanizing play became a sensation off-Broadway before transferring to Broadway, where it received two Tony Award nominations among countless other accolades.
