Wethersfield Historical Society presents a unique theatrical experience of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol in the double parlor of the Hurlbut-Dunham House on Saturday, December 13 and again on Thursday, December 18. Time's Fool Theatre Company's Wesley Broulik reprises his acclaimed one-man show accompanied by only a solo cello and your imagination. You'll see Dickens' beloved characters come to life before your eyes - Jacob Marley, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, and Ebenezer Scrooge - in the intimate setting of the Hurlbut-Dunham House, decked out for the holidays and ready to celebrate a Victorian Christmas.
These performances are given for the benefit of Wethersfield Historical Society. Seating is limited to only 20 audience embers for each performance of this one-of-a-kind event. In addition to admittance to the show, attendees will enjoy seasonal refreshments served at 5:30 pm preceding the performance. Guests will enjoy prosecco or sweet cider along with other holiday favorites. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased on EventBrite. You can save the convenience fees and buy them in-person at the Keeney Center (200 Main Street, Wethersfield) for cash or check. The box office is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
All proceeds from this event will go toward operations at Wethersfield Historical Society.
