12:00 - 1:45 PM: Workshop: From Script to Screen With Mighty Engine

How does a production company take a project from conception to completion and from development to delivery? What do they look for and how do they find it? Whether you have your own production company or are considering working with someone else's, find out how the process works and the key to success at Mighty Engine in this candid conversation with two of its principals!

Founded by Producer Jared Ian Goldman in partnership with Vice President of Development/Production Zola Elgart Glassman, Mighty Engine is an independent production company offering two decades of award-winning creative producing and physical production services across film, television, documentary, and animation. We take a singular, synergistic approach to two sides of producing that are typically bifurcated. While working with pedigreed talent to develop and produce our slate of robust, proprietary projects, we have a successful third-party consulting business supporting A-list talent, streamers, studios, and independent financiers to enact reliable production plans.

Jared Ian Goldman is an award winning independent producer with over two decades of experience producing for film and TV. Jared's recent credits include the Lionsgate comedy About My Father starring Sebastian Maniscalco and Robert De Niro, the Emmy nominated Netflix series Russian Doll, Marvel's hit series The Punisher, the Apple+ feature Palmer starring Justin Timberlake, and the Netflix feature The Devil All The Time, starring Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson.

Zola Elgart Glassman is a Development Executive/Independent Producer who previously served as the Head of Development at Yale Productions, where she grew their slate annually with a plethora of projects and relationships. There, she brought in, developed and produced Zach Golden’s High Heat starring Don Johnson and Olga Kurylenko, developed and co-produced Katie Holmes’ upcoming drama Alone Together starring Katie Holmes, Jim Sturgess, and Melissa Leo, and co-produced Mark Neveldine’s Panama starring Mel Gibson and Cole Hauser. After receiving her BA in Film Production and Media Studies from Hampshire College, Zola began her career in entertainment working in representation at Paradigm Agency and MGMT. She moved from LA to NYC in 2017 to work at Anonymous Content where she helped manage talent and worked on Season 1 of Rightor Doyle's Netflix mini-series, Bonding. She began working with Jared Ian Goldman on Season 2 of Marvel's The Punisher and went onto work with him on Joe Robert Cole's Netflix drama All Day And A Night.

Herbarium

ZIELNIK/HERBARIUM is the fifth choreographic film directed by Iwona Pasinska. It is a fairy-tale episode, told with tenderness, gushing with the intense colours of flowers and élan vital. Choreography composed to a suite by Edward Grieg and presented by the artists-dancers of the Polish Dance Theatre takes the audience into the world of flora. It allows to explore a day in the life of a plant from the moment it blooms to the end, drowned in warm nostalgia. We invite you to immerse yourself in the beautiful world of flowers and leaves, in the greens, reds and purples transitioning to the greys and browns of the autumn. And all this told with movement to the rhythm of the dynamic sounds of the suite Peer Gynt op. 1 performed by Trondheim Symfoniorkester & Opera.
