A night of games and face-offs will go on as long as you want to keep mingling and having fun!

A new and exciting studio and production house has set up shop near Provo at Enigma 3 that everyone should know about and be using, and also home to Utah’s second biggest stage only 15 minutes from Provo. We’ve partnered with them to take you on a Studio Tour of their facilities, as we want you to explore Utah, and find out what advantages it has to offer you for your next productions. Workshop & Lab #3: “Sound Design Breakdown” w/Patrick Hogan
FilmQuest Alumni and 10-time Emmy nominated Sound Supervisor and Designer, Patrick Hogan, breaks down what it takes to create an incredible soundscape on some of streaming’s biggest shows, including Cobra Kai, The Umbrella Academy, and Reservation Dogs. In this interactive lab, Patrick shows you the secrets to great sound design and how to get it on your own projects, no matter the budget! He’ll be using a film playing later in the week, Sweet Molly, to show you how they sweetened the project through great sound.

It’s going to take cracker jack timing, but we’re going to go for it and visit one of Utah’s longest running and most popular haunts, The Haunted Forest in American Fork (15 minutes from the venue). We’re going to carpool, Uber, and bus on over asap after the last screening to make it before Midnight where the Haunt will be waiting for us. As long as we arrive by midnight, they’ll get us all in. Subject to the when the last screenings finish of course.

Time to find out, once and for all, who the winners from the 2024 FilmQuest lineup are. Is it you? Is it them? Is it us? Let’s all find out together in this fun, audio/visual spectacle! This will be an RSVP banded event, open to the nominees and screenplay finalists. An overflow will and live feed of the show will be broadcast at The Social. Please choose your representatives wisely as this WILL be a packed to capacity event. A live feed will be provided for those watching virtually via Facebook and possibly YouTube.
