The Lake Arbor Jazz Festival is set to celebrate its 15th anniversary with a special “Music at the Manor” event at Wellspring Manor & Spa. The evening will showcase two prominent contemporary jazz musicians, Blake Aaron, a #1 Billboard hit guitarist described as “a genius on the guitar” by the Los Angeles Times and Will Donato, a national recording artist and saxophonist with 12 studio albums and multiple Billboard #1 singles.

Join the Lake Arbor Festival Host team, festival partners, and sponsors for an unforgettable night to kick off the 2025 Lake Arbor Jazz Festival weekend! Start your festival weekend with our Festival Kickoff at Newton White Mansion, Mitchellville, Maryland. Enjoy lavish hors d’ oeuvres, a cash bar, the Wellspring Manor Fine Art Exhibit, and great entertainment. The evening will feature 2x Emmy-Nominated Musician & 2022 Apollo Theater Grand Finale Winner Kofi B. Also performing will be DC’s favorite saxman, Brian Lenair with a special surprise guest.

Meet Lake Arbor Jazz Festival artists a morning Meet & Greet at MGM Hotel & Casino, National Harbor in the Aria Room. Invited artists will discuss their musical journey, successes and challenges.

12 PM - 4 PM : Friday Day Festival

After 14 incredible years at the Lake Arbor Community Center, we’re taking the music, the energy, and our amazing music community to Spirit Park at National Harbor, MD for the Friday Day Festival. Enjoy food vendors, on-site beer, and wine lounge, VIP private tents, and live music from 12 noon to 4 pm! The Lake Arbor Jazz Festival is embarking on a new journey for our 15th anniversary! Performing on the main stage will be a high energy performance by DC’s favorite band Phaze II and saxmen BK Jackson and Phillip “Doc” Martin.

6 PM - 11 PM : Summer White Affair & Concert

Sport your favorite summer white attire and meet us at MGM National Harbor Hotel and Casino for an explosive night of contemporary jazz. The event features a delectable 3-course dinner, cash bars, vendors, silent and live auctions, and a fantastic evening of live entertainment. Premium Reserved Dinner, General Reserved Dinner and General Reserved theater seating are available. The evening will feature a who’s who of smooth Jazz artists including Gerald Veasley with his Unscripted Allstars including Jeanette Harris, Lin Rountree, Nicholas Cole. Also performing will be Nathan Mitchell along with vocalist Erin Stevenson. Rounding out he evenings performers will be female vocal trio Pink Palish.

Performing on the main stage will be a bassist Julian Vaughn along with saxophonist and vocalist Marqueal Jordan. Also, bring summer white casual wear and cap as we pay tribute to Frankie Beverly featuring the We Are One Xperience Band.

6 PM - 11 PM : SATURDAY FESTIVAL CONCERT

Join us for an evening of R&B Vocal Soul and Smooth Jazz! Come early to enjoy a lobby reception with a cash bar and hors d oeuvres. Don’t miss this fantastic evening of entertainment at MGM Hotel & Casino with two-time Grammy winner and eight time Grammy nominated singer and songwriter Peabo Bryson. Also performing will be former lead singer for Tower of Power and the Temptations, Larry Braggs. Saxophonist Jazmin Ghent and flutist Ragan Whiteside will join this powerful lineup of musicians and artists. This is a show that you do not want to miss!

Join us back at MGM National Harbor Hotel & Casino for the Festival Sunday Jazz Brunch and an afternoon of soul and contemporary jazz. The jazz brunch features a delectable buffet, and a fantastic afternoon of live entertainment against the backdrop of National Harbor. Premium Reserved Brunch Table seating and General Reserved Brunch table seating is available. South African born guitarist and vocalist Jonathan Butler will headline the Lake Arbor Sunday Jazz Brunch. Also performing will be violinist Chelsey Green and the Green Project.
